Trying New Things

My friend asked if I would make her daughter a University of Tennessee dress...this is how it turned out. (Please keep in mind this was my first time sewing clothes) Here are some of the pictures. enjoy!

One of my good friends from high school ordered two purple flower pillows. This is the fabric I picked out for her...I love the accent turquoise and apple green with the purple. The purple felt is a little dark, but I think it turned out good. Here are some of the pictures. Enjoy!

Heather has been keeping me busy making burp cloths. She has several friends having baby showers the next two months. So I have been stocking her up. I think out of everything I make, I love making them the most. (Best of all I enjoy making anything for girls...I swear our next child really needs to be a girl, but I'd be happy with another boy too.)

Custom Order - Ann

My good friend Ann ordered a flower pillow. I had a lot of fun looking for the perfect "Ann" fabric. Ann has a vintage soul, she loves anything old (I am pretty sure she has never drove past an antique store and didn't stop), she also loves roses. When I saw this fabric I knew it would be prefect for her.

I love it and I hope it looks great in her home.

On Monday night some of our good friends came to visit, I mean shop. I had fun playing dress up with their new little daughter. I have decided our next baby needs to be a girl.....and I am pretty sure I will dress her in giant flower headbands every second of her life.
